Need to really get serious. Time to move Brown to the bullpen. He is really fatigued. We need the good Javier to show up tomorrow, because our pitching staff is just decimated.

    Diaz full season projection:

    40 HRs
    102 RBIs

Cannot get in the everyday lineup. Not close.

    Still.

No idea, but I miss the Yordan who knocked the sh*t out of the ball a lot more often than he's doing now. I just keep hoping he gets on fire. Man, we need that.

That should be a fireable offense.

You guys see how pro-active Hyde is compared to Dusty. You can tell he doesn’t take anything for granted.

It's all good, long as Moldy doesn't get his feelings hurt and Verlander picks the lineup.

And just like that. From division lead with bye to last wild card spot leading the rangers by virtue of having won the season series.

And those numbers come with ample DH where he's a less productive hitter....

    Awesome season for any player.

As a catcher, one of the greatest seasons ever.

Dude is Piazza with better defense.

Maldo enjoys Dusty's backshots, so GP was limited.

It's like watching a slow death or knowing the end is near. Not giving up yet on this year but the Astros should be back in it to win it all in 2024. After that I am not sure. It's been a fun ride either way!

Maldy should swallow his pride for the good of the team because apparently the front office has no say. Also, Dusty has no feel for the flow of the game. It’s ridiculous how he just lets bad **** happen instead of being proactive. Please retire.

The Astros cannot back into the playoffs now, with Texas and Seattle playing, the Astros have to win or else go home. The Astros really needed to have a 3-4 game lead going into this, now it’s almost a requirement that the Astros win probably 7 or 8 of these 10 games.
