The symbolism and that they thought this was a good idea is bad enough. It’s like those arguing that no one was actually hung in Jan. 6th as somehow erecting gallows and changing Hang Mike Pence wasn’t that big of a deal.
mccarthy can't get his own side of the aisle to pass a defense spending bill... what chance does he have to pass a CR to keep the government going? It is a low bar, but mccarthy has to be considered the least effective Speaker of the House of all time. What a comedown after Nancy Pelosi...
