This is such a non story lol, She is a fun size 5 foot tall woman that possibly had too much fun on a outing.
It was a non story if she would of just left, apologized to staff for the disruption and not went to lie about it. However, because she couldn't handle not attempting to lie about it, she made it a story. Conduct yourselves like adults and there doesn't have to be a story. If she wants to play with her guy, just go to the ****ing movies and do your business there in a matinee. Usually no one gives a **** there. Lol.
It’s normal for an elected official to pop her titty out in a theatre with children. You libtards need to grow up.
Since this is D&D, I will lob some D&D things up in here: Class or perceived class is a huge factor in our current political divisions, and this even with Boebbert or whatever feels like a perfect example. As the left has become much less directly tied to what's left of a working class, more neoliberal, more coastal and more elite (IMHO anyway), the right, at least in messaging and persona, has gone in the other direction: largely non-coastal, less trusting of elite education and knowledge brokers, and, for lack of a better word, more crude. The whole "woke / anti-woke" thing falls right across that same divide. Maybe a bunch of people are racist, sure, I think so, but maybe some other people are not racists, like, at all, but they don't want to be told what's in their hearts by university sociology departments. Joe Six-pack, if that person really exists anymore, doesn't have time for that stuff. My favorite encapsulations, via our finest news source: https://www.theonion.com/democrats-launch-new-listen-up-hayseeds-campaign-to-1837812745 https://www.theonion.com/dnc-aiming-to-reconnect-with-working-class-americans-wi-1819579456 Trump is a category five hurricane of this trend (despite, sure, being from NYC, and moneyed), as he spits playground phrasing and is as anti-intellectual (bleach anyone?) and crude as we've ever seen. But it's been brewing for a while. Expect more Boebberts, MTGs, Trumps, etc... not fewer. (I have to say, as a coastal elitist, I do kind of enjoy watching someone like Harvard-bred, effite Ted Cruz keep attempting to pass as a champion of country folks, haha. He's just so ridiculously bad at it.) I also think an over-simplified embrace of the class angle can help gobsmacked liberals understand why they're starting to lose certain voters of color too. Ermergerd! They don't like Hamilton OR the latest Colson Whitehead novel?!?! Who are these people?! And to think our brainiac position papers would actually be good for them, and it's like they don't EVEN CARE! The fascination over this current story, I mean beyond the obvious newsrack angle, feels a little like libs tittering at a Walmart mom caught in the theater. Okay, gang, sure, yeah, deplorable, right? Okay, ha... haha. (sigh)
I think liberal hemming and hawing at this is a result of frustration with Boebert's moralistic posturing being totally at odds with her own behavior. It used to be that, at least after getting caught, the morality grandstanders would step down after "falling short" of their rhetoric. Now, thanks to the cancerous influence of Trump, she'll face no consequences for her hypocrisy and her voters will continue to expect nothing better from her. I don't care if you get a little freaky in a theater. I do care if you've been telling me that everything aside than God-ordained missionary position is sinful and you get caught acting contrary to that posturing in public.
It would be.... if she wasn't part of the "christian" right and constantly using moral superiority as her kind tends to do.... Christians are merely people, nothing special.
