its also the same idiots that believed wood was going to be a max player and nix was the rockets future pg. the correlation of stupidity is consistent with these low bball iq folks who try to be the loudest
Not enough. Because I haven't cared enough to quote out of context statements of you from other subforums that have nothing to do with this subject to do some type of "own"
Honestly, what is all this talent that people speak of when it comes to this dude? There’s so many marginal players that could put up KPJ’s stats if u made them the lead ball handler and PG of a team that’s not even trying to win giving them 30+ mpg there is nothing special whatsoever about KPJ as a talent
it's actually pretty talented that a loser who has a long list of known issues, been kicked off everywhere hes been, throws food at teammates, throws tantrums and constantly pouts, leaves during games still is able to fool sheep into following him.
Before this incident, I was hopeful that KPJ would get it together and reach his potential. I thought getting him from the Cavs was a good move to see if he could reach his potential with us. It was a low-risk, high-reward type move that a rebuilding team should make. But the way they coddled him by giving him the starting PG position and paying John Wall $40M+ to stay away was a big mistake. Extending him a year early is costing us dearly right now. If more stories come out about KPJ's bad behavior that the Rockets were aware of but chose to sweep under the rug, it will continue to put Stone and the front office in a negative light.
I am not that old but I cannot even remember what I was thinking ........but obviously I was not too concerned with Kevin as a player.
I thought Peon meant peasant worker......which is derogatory but saying nothing about one's character, just a lower standing.
This. Some of our posters appear to be mentally stuck in 2004 when the NBA was at historic lows in scoring. 19ppg at KPJ's usage rate is nothing special in today's league, and scoring is his only real skill.

Kevin Porter Jr.'s career in Houston appears over, but how and when a decision is made remain unclear Porter on Tuesday pleaded not guilty to the charges. For now, the Rockets’ options are limited. The NBA’s collective bargaining agreement with the National Basketball Players Association makes it clear the team cannot suspend Porter. Section 16 under player conduct in the CBA states: “A Team shall not impose discipline on a player solely on the basis of the fact that the player has been arrested.” While the Rockets must wait for the league to act to discipline Porter, they can seek to trade him. The Athletic reported Wednesday that they have begun working to find a deal. But any team willing to acquire Porter’s contract would make the deal for the assets that would come with him, rather than to play Porter. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/te...(Premium)&utm_source=t.co&utm_medium=referral
The nuance on KPJ and taking a risk is, it is fine to take a risk at the time the Rockets got him, and then after they got Jalen Green and the KPJ "half time" incident, it was time to pivot. A KPJ discourse does not have to be black and white. There are times to take risks, and there are times to reduce your risk. The bigger issue here is Stone hitching his wagon to a risk well past time and it bit him.
