Stone needs to learn to just cut his losses. He took a risk and it went bad. Why overcompensate now by burning a few second round picks and taking on long term salary? Just sign the best backup SG you can find to the vet minimum if you absolutely need one. Tate, Amen and Whitmore will fill in. Hope the team doesn't cough up a first rounder.

This GM offered Victor Olidipo 2 yrs $45 mil 3 yrs ago when that kind of money was absurd. The only thing that saved us was Olidipo’s greed. He signed Daniel Theis to a $35 mil contract and then had to trade him away to get out of it. He just gave Dillon Brooks 4 yrs $80 mil. And of course, he prematurely extended KPJ to the tune of $18 mil and now throwing away draft capital instead of just cutting their losses. this guy is a straight up poor decision maker and bad GM.
