the difference is you're getting going from trash to even worse trash. this assumption that the rockets are getting some legit player for KPJ is hilarious. pigs fly

I'd rather have a legitimate NBA Player on the roster, than a G-Leaguer. oh wow, pretty sure anyone would like this.

No you don't waste draft capitol just to dump an idiot. you just dump the idiot and move on

I don't think multiple seconds are worth the optics of trading for KPJ and lighting $15M on fire.

We'd be sending OUT several 2nd rounders along with that contract and have a solid rotation player.

Stone needs to learn to just cut his losses. He took a risk and it went bad. Why overcompensate now by burning a few second round picks and taking on long term salary?

Just sign the best backup SG you can find to the vet minimum if you absolutely need one. Tate, Amen and Whitmore will fill in.

Hope the team doesn't cough up a first rounder.

Attaching picks to trade him...why? Why not just keep him at that point? Is this just giving away picks so Tilman can save money?

I'm sorry, but the Rockets offering several 2nd round picks to get rid of the dude they never ever should have signed in the first place is so hilarious.

This GM offered Victor Olidipo 2 yrs $45 mil 3 yrs ago when that kind of money was absurd. The only thing that saved us was Olidipo’s greed. He signed Daniel Theis to a $35 mil contract and then had to trade him away to get out of it. He just gave Dillon Brooks 4 yrs $80 mil. And of course, he prematurely extended KPJ to the tune of $18 mil and now throwing away draft capital instead of just cutting their losses.

this guy is a straight up poor decision maker and bad GM.
