Absolutely brilliant post by @Nook once again. "The front office purposely overlooked poor behavior and insubordination and atrocious acts of the court. The Rockets let him be a bully in practice and treat people in and outside the organization very poorly." When the hosts on Rockets Watch (@Clutch) say KPJ is a problem and a ticking timebomb, it is stuff like this going on behind the scenes. There are just some fans that don't want to believe it. "Stone showed insanely poor character judgment not only keeping KPJ on the team, but claiming he was the leader of the team and ENCOURAGED young top players like Jalen Green to bond with Porter." And having KPJ being an influence for your most high profile player, Jalen Green, is awful culture building.
not really. someone isn't too bright being fooled by Adrian Wojnarrowskí who is followed by 500 people w/ a handle of wojzspen. that says parody account front and center on the page.
Actually the civil suit will probably take care of any dollars heading into KPJ's pocket. I see that as a better outcome than it sitting in some Scrooge McDuck pile. Also, the Rockets can say "We're cutting ties with him one way or the other" - it's very easy, I just did it!
Correct, the response of kpj stans is well Nook isn't right about everything. which is stupid bc the usual stans DD, BTG etc who ride his nuts for years are never right about anything
And why guys like Givony went on record saying they should cut KPJ. People around the league knew. Stone looked away. Segments of Rockets fans looked away when Rockets Watch (@Clutch) warned people.
That's also the reason why there were reports that KPJ had no trade interest around the league. I always laugh when people say we should have got rid of him for a late first rounder, there's not another team that wanted KPJ on their team. I could just imagine the amount of behind the scenes incidents that went around the league about him
Most worrying is they encouraged the impressionable 19 year old rookies then to buddy up with him. This is not the mentor or role model you want your coveted draft assets to hang out with.
Perhaps it was in person warning of what can happen to your career if you’re an idiot. I’m joking but it does show everyone on the team what you can lose if you don’t act like a normal decent human. Along with Morant as an example of what not to do.
And when Simmons and Russillo did a little exercise on their podcast of an expansion draft they didn’t “protect” KPJ from our roster and neither of them wanted any part of him on their new expansion teams. And why almost none of the articles about the young Rockets prospects included much talk about Porter. They talked about Green, Sengun, Thompson, Tari as the future. “He would start for a lot of teams” No. He wouldn’t. We were the 1 team.
I think you meant to say "Is any of this in English?" Enjoy your sandwiches... Same reason, you're grammar policing my post... do you feel better now?
The problem is the hosts and others NEVER give details - the most I believe we heard was he was missing practice, there is nothing wrong with giving more details - that would help people make an informed decision, and one can't assume everyone was watching when they did give details - maybe some of us missed them. All I ever heard was that he was missing practice - never anything about the rest..... At the end, it doesn't matter, we are fans only, the Org will do what the org wants. Maybe I missed those days when Clutch talked about specifics? Or details? Or maybe he did it in a DM or something? But I never knew the depth of the Rox coverup. And Nook's post was great, but a lot of that is new stuff........I never understand why people hear stuff and are afraid of posting it, or hide it....just say it.....if a player is telling you...they aren't asking you to keep it quiet they want it out. DD
Laptop incident is old by date but new to public. Gatlin told it in the last episode of Locked On. Sometimes media hold certain stories possibly because their sources revealed on certain conditions or if non-basketball related they didn't want to gossip.
wow this sounds very similar to people who are like "if you were beat up by that person why did you stay in the relationship?" come on dude...
Sometimes they are not at liberty to give details. And you just have to trust the source at face value. Not every incident can be let out.
No it doesn't. It's what you want it to sound like to win an argument. I stated that she entered the relationship AFTER captain hindsights all over this forum "knew this was coming" implying these people have better character judgment than the victrim which isn't the case obviously. Calling people idiots for not seeing this happening is calling the victim an idiot applying THEIR logic. The reality is the only reason they are right is because of probabilistic natures. There is a world where KPJ is given no chances, becomes isolated and does this sooner also. There are so many possibilities and saying that people saw this coming as trying to stand on a moral high horse now at a time of tragedy is kinda sad.
Not sure what you're talking about? I was referring to a tweet that someone posted. If it was you and you took offense, I apologize, but I also realize that you did not write that tweet.
