I think it looks pretty good. I like the conceit. I like having the two friends and all that opens up for the possible plot. Like the scene of a possessed girl walking up the aisle in church -- was always waiting for that to happen in my boring childhood Methodist church, always dissapointed. Most of all I like that it provides fodder for snow-white flakes to decry its wokeness. "Oh of course, now demons pay attention to Black families too. Can't we have anything to ourselves anymore?"
This looks really good, the original shook me to my core, this movie and Jaws were the 2 movies that actually had me scared when I watched them as a teenager.
