There were plenty of moments where Kessler could've contributed. Especially last game where they got destroyed by JV and company. I agree the roster construction was poor but the coaching may have been worse.
You should know that you can't call yourself "World Champs" when you win your national league. Especially when your national team gets eliminated from World Cup by the hands of mediocre Euroleague player Andreas Obst.

Turns out building your team around the actual Anthony Edwards isn't a winning strategy... imagine how bad those who want to build a team around a poor man's version of Anthony Edwards must feel right now.
LOL Don't get me wrong, i'm big fan of Obst since his first Euroleague game with Bayern Munchen. I think he's criminally underrated but you have to admit that he's not even a Euroleague star and he destroyed the Team USA today. I was rooting for Germany as well and they got a well deserved hard fought victory. Best of luck in the Final.
