Yeah last night’s game highlighted two things. CJ Stroud is more athletic than Goff and it isn’t particularly close.

We can talk all day about great QBs elevating receivers, but regardless if the receivers aren’t good they can still ruin that QBs play. Mahomes has a much lower completion percentage, scored less points, and had a pick 6, all directly tied to inferior receivers. If Mahomes can’t work with just anyone at receiver, we should definitely see the need for a number 1 receiver for Stroud. Sucks that we have to wait for next year for that, but it is priority number 1.

Not sure what you’re seeing but no, their athleticism is very similar

And what are y’all talking about?
Mahomes was still Mahomes with a bunch of nobodies.
Outside of Toney, he makes those guys better

If Kelce would have been able to play the receivers would have been fine.

Goff couldn’t escape the tackle box. That’s how slow he is. We’ve already seen Stroud run back and around linemen and gain positive yards in the preseason. This is why every person that comps him to Goff adds the disclaimer that Stroud has more mobility than him.

So if the best tight end in football played, the receivers would have been fine? You’re just agreeing that a number 1 is needed, whether it’s a receiver or a tight end, QBs perform better with a dominant and clear number 1 to throw to.

Nice find and good receiver as well. Not big, but runs tuff. Good start to this year... https://www.tankathon.com/nfl/players/will-shipley

Maybe someone we could get in 3rd-4th round this year, looks like he's currently slotted around prospect #7 amongst RBs.

You do know Goff has made some of the same plays right?
So because Stroud couldn’t evade the tackle box against New England he’s not mobile right?
You are what you consistently show, not the outlier.

Simple question, who is he closer to in last nights game? Mahomes or Goff?
Many have compared him to Mahomes here, but Stroud isn’t doing what Mahomes can do.

    Like a poor man’s McCaffrey/Percy Harvin.
He’s got legitimate speed and athleticism but wouldn’t say he’s going to be a 3 down back.
Use him like Harvin was used pre concussions

Yeah Mahomes will be fine. This is just the first game. You put Toney in the same situation next game, he’ll end up with 100+ yards. These guys don’t drop passes like this every game.

    Unless you’re Jalen Reagor.

If it comes down to any wr not named MHJ or Bowers, I'm picking Bowers and trading back into the 1st for Worthy. Then signing Higgins in FA.

Imagine this after period the next draft/fa

    WR's Collins/Higgins/Worthy/Dell

    TE 's Bowers, Schultz, Quitoriano.

Pearce Singleton, Boone and add a RB through the draft.

    Weapons.

Harrison Jr had a huge game against Youngstown - 7 rec, 160 yards, 2 TD

Bowers had one reception for 3 yards against Ball State.

Harrison Jr just makes too much sense. Already has great chemistry with CJ and definitely has the upside to be a top 5 receiver in the NFL.

Unless Browns sucks so bad and the Texans get #3, we're not getting Harrison.

Penn State QB, Allar, looks great. Not huge yardage but has a great feel for the game.

Pray that the Browns suck, McCord sucks and Harrison has more games like last week. [IMG] (2 catches, 18 yards)
