    I would think home field provides an advantage for most teams. Equal wins home and away aint good.

    I just heard on 790 that JV left the game early last outing due to forearm strain. Is that true? That can’t be good.

    Altuve is the only player in major league history to hit 3 HRs in exactly the first 3 innings of the game then strike out on his last AB... taken out in the 9th inning... and wake up the next day in the state of Texas. Never.... ever.... has that happened... I mean never. ;)

    The only player to ever comes close was Ty Babe DiMaggio Jr in 1842, that's only because Texas wasn't officially a state yet. There was another player who did it more recently in 1987, but he was kidnapped immediately after the game and woke up in Tijuana.

    Why the Reds started a rookie that hasn't made it out of the 5th inning in any start and allowed 9 runs in 12 innings... while in a playoff race... is asinine
