Wise. Take a negative and turn it around into something that could actually build the bond between you and your father. He obviously didn't feel that he could ever own-up to this; you handling it that way would make him realize what a man you are. Most parents are quite proud when their kids surpass them...
It doesn't seem like a lot of people, myself included, have really thought about how the wife feels about this.
It could get worse. What if they reveal they got drunk and taped themselves having sex. Be careful when probing for answers. Alcohol leads to no good.
Don't feel too bad. I just recently found out that I owe over $800 for a phone bill from when I lived with my mom. She supposedly used my name since she owed money and couldn't get a phone with hers. I told the guy I was talking to that I wanted to file fraud charges and he would get it set up. This is the second time I filed fraud on her, the first time she claimed that I lived with her in order to get more money for her taxes, but I was living with my aunt and uncle at the time, who also claimed me. This goes on a LONG list of things I just can't get myself to forgive her for. If you think this is cheap, I'll never forget the time I came home from school to find my nintendo and the 2 or 3 games I had missing only to find out she had pawned them. Thank god I have next to no contact with her anymore, last I heard she just got married for the 6th time. Pugs
Yeah, my Dad lies like crazy to his kids. I don't think he even knows it sometimes. But then again, he is a Bush appointee. But he never sold my toys or screwed with my credit. Sorry to hear about that, Pugs.
Hey! Just look at it this way, your parents could of been porning it up and you would of been watching that instead. If it was me just blow it off, you will never replace the video, but you can never replace your DAD. Laugh about and then forget about the whole situation.
It's a wedding video tape, Why ruin the relationship with your father over it? What's more important, a video tape you'll watch two times maximum or....your relationship with your father? I'd confront him about it and let him know you're not happy about it, but after that, let it go. It's not worth it.
