This team lacks adequate hunger in the face of hungrier competition and the pitching staff, well, it’s just underperformed expectations

Wonder if we lead the league in one pitch outs.

1 run in 16 innings. No team can win with that. Doesn’t matter who is pitching.

To expand on this, every game the Astros lose that the best players available aren't playing are on Dusty (i.e., the Astros play suboptimal lineups so much, there really isn't much need for load management for most of the roster). When the death lineup or Megedeath with Brantley loses, it is on the players.

I genuinely believe there has to be some turmoil in the clubhouse going on. This team has looked lifeless much of the season. I’m not sure what’s going on, but it ain’t all roses. The Dusty grudge against Chaz is probably the tip of the spear.

100% this all stems around Dusty.

it might be but i personally don't think so.

i think guys just can't find a groove or consistency because they won't know where they'll bat in the lineup. it was like this early last year too until i think Click stepped in and said enough is enough.

johnnie has all the power this year and "it's his team".

i've held off on really believing a baseball manager could be insane enough to hold a grudge against a great player, and have chalked it more up to dusty's stupidity for most of the season, but after the yankees series i'm starting to believe it's a possibility.

it's not something i've ever heard of a baseball manager doing lol.

We might be 0-4 after the “we are built for championships” remark.
