Blaster Internet worm defendant, 19, pleads guilty

    Problems inside prisons are another issue. The environment inside a prison should have no bearing on the punishment handed out. They're seperate issues.

    That ******* screwed up my laptop the night before i was going to use it for a final. If it wasnt for this place i wouldnt have been able to fix it in time. Screw that guy. :mad:

    Yes, that was a bit tongue-in-cheek, but we need to devise a punishment that keeps these computer geeks in check. I'm sick and tired of people developing these worms. Imagine the millions he cost people because of his stupidity. Hopefully he gets the full-on Ned Beatty action in jail. Squeal like a piggy, boy!

    I kinda half agree, but I don't believe in making examples of people. I mean...those people are wealthy anyway, and will be able to make their money back. On the other hand, he's not gonna get back his ass-ginity after getting humped in jail.

    He is NOT set for life, he did not create the virus, he simply mutated it.

    That does not take a ton of brains to do, he took someone else's work and changed it a little bit.

    He may very well get work in the computer field one day, but that does not mean he is set for life.
