We gave up 10 more runs than the rangers and lost 0.0 games in the standings. Let's get our **** together in Detroit.
So dubon came in and hit 2 doubles. Why the fug couldn't he do that yesterday to win the game?! I'd trade one of his double today for yesterday's game.
In the off-season Martin Maldonado I believe didn't get a Contract. Martin Maldonado bad energy vibes and laziness. Has come over this season. Fans constantly want Martin traded, Martin acting bitter.
Astros Social Media knows, but does Dusty know? Crazy to think Yainer Diaz would've had 30 - 40 Home Runs and really be a Contender for AL Rookie of the Year. If he played Full Time.
I just scoreboard watch. Astros are just .500 Team or lose 2 out of 3, or swept, everytime I check on them
Watching Maldy pitch the 9th inning yesterday is a microcosm of where the team is right now. Just a total mess. The starting pitching overall is the worst I can remember since we started this historic seven year run we have been on. To be honest it's been hard to watch. Our defense has been bad as well. That play Bregman failed to make in Wed night's game probably cost us that game. Offensively for the most part we just seem unmotivated. Too many strikeouts, popups, and GIDP's at the wrong time. Can't put my finger on it but it is frustrating from a fan's point of view. Having said all this we are only one game out of first place in our division and still retain a spot in the wildcard race with 33 games left in the regular season. Amazing as many opportunities we have squandered along the way. Time to buckle up. The rest of the season anything can happen. I hope we get it together as we are running out of time.
Just counts as 1 loss in the standings. I just look back to my earlier post: (Paraphrasing) If all 3 teams win 1/2 the games vs winning teams and 2/3 of all games vs losing teams and the Astros win 2 of 3 in both series vs Mariners and Rangers then they will win the division. After 4 days its still on track. Astros won 2 of 4 from R.Sox Mariners won 2 of 3 from W.Sox Rangers lost 2 vs D'Backs and 1 vs Twins.
My figures are bare minimum. But they work. Obviously I HOPE for more but this is what I expect and what is more realistic than one of the teams suddenly having a losing streak. Texas is 1 game below that projection. Seattle and Astros are right on. Now Astros need to win at least 2 vs Det and Seattle needs to lose at least 1 vs KC. Then my projections will be 100% after 1 week even if Texas wins all 3 remaining vs Min.
