Team Turmoil: This ... could get a little awkward
Ben Simmons saga last season, how much more can 2023 MVP Joel Embiid take?

The Trail Blazers, reasonably, sit at second as they deal with their relatively amicable split with Lillard. With Portland willing to wait "months" to find the right deal for their superstar point guard, though, the current standstill might last longer than either party would like.

    1. Philadelphia 76ers: 98 points (68% of first-place votes)
    2. Portland Trail Blazers: 21 points
    3. Dallas Mavericks: 17 points
    4. Memphis Grizzlies: 14 points
    5. Minnesota Timberwolves: 12 points
    6. LA Clippers: 10 points
    7. Boston Celtics: 8 points
    T-8. Atlanta Hawks: 7 points
T-8. Los Angeles Lakers: 7 points
T-8. New York Knicks: 7 points
    T-9. Charlotte Hornets: 5 points
    T-9. Phoenix Suns: 5 points
T-10. Golden State Warriors: 4 points
T-10. New Orleans Pelicans: 4 points

What team will James Harden be on to start the 2023-24 season?
This escalated quickly. In the NBA's latest game of chicken, we'll see who blinks first. Either way, if both parties hold firm -- Harden saying he will never play for a team Morey is part of; Morey stating the team plans to bring the disgruntled guard back for training camp -- Harden and the 76ers are in for quite the reunion this preseason.

While the Sixers had periodic conversations with the Clippers -- Harden's preferred destination -- no deal materialized. The team's asking price is steep, sources said, and no teams have been willing, or able, to meet it.

    1. Philadelphia 76ers (76% of total votes)
    2. LA Clippers (20%)
    3. Houston Rockets (4%)

The next superstar to request a trade will be ...
Joel Embiid has made it clear he is in the hunt for a championship -- whether that's with Philly or another team. The MVP center is entering his eighth season with the franchise.

And Zion Williamson, entering his fourth year in the league, played just 29 games last season for the up-and-coming Hornets. The 2019 No. 1 pick, who is signed through 2027-2028, has played a combined 114 games in four seasons in New Orleans.

    1. Joel Embiid (40% of total votes)
    2. Zion Williamson (20%)
    3. Karl-Anthony Towns (12%)
    T-4. Trae Young (8%)
    T-4. Kyrie Irving (8%)
    T-5. Ja Morant (4%)
    T-5. Donovan Mitchell (4%)
    T-5. Luka Doncic (4%)

Harden is more like single ply toilet paper that breaks down at any sign of pressure.

Thanks to this scientific test, now we know what to call those players who are 30% less soft than Charmin, but are still reasonably soft.

There were some sand paper like TP that would not be ticked off as Charmin soft.

Lol this dude is crazy in his head, he thinks running away to a new franchise every year makes his problems go away.

    The Gods must be crazy.

Josh Harris: Sixers Working To Convince James Harden To Stay With Sixers

Josh Harris said the Philadelphia 76ers are continuing to work on convincing James Harden to remain with the franchise for the 23-24 season after they've been unable to find a workable trade.

“Listen, we’re hard at work,” Harris said Monday. “I respect James. I want to, obviously, accommodate what he wants. At the same time, I have to think about a championship-contending team, what we can get back. I’d love to convince him to stay. I understand that that’s not what he wants to do right now.

“I’m going to keep working to resolve it in a way that everyone can live with and is positive for everyone, whatever that resolution is. … I respect him as a basketball player, and as a person. It’s back to, these are, you’re dealing with people, right? And you’ve got to be there. We’ll see where it comes out.”

Harden attempted to increase the pressure on the Sixers to trade him by calling Daryl Morey "a liar" during an event in China.

The Sixers told Harden they intend for him to report to camp after the Los Angeles Clippers reportedly moved on from trade talks.

Lmao. Frauden is not going to get in shape and perform to increase his value. He wants the easy way out.

Morey continues to be stubborn and Harden continues to sabotage. What will change first?

Being a professional and sticking to his contract, is not working nowadays.

Harden is something else and not just a basketballer.....lmao.

I heard that song from someone named Royce White before.

Brb, starting a Gofundme to help Harden through this time. Obviously his impoverished situation was bothering him enough to make this comment about Morey, now being fined? A man's gotta feed his children hoes.
