    The Republic of Stevenlands is a massive, safe nation, notable for its compulsory vegetarianism. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 1.18 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

    It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Social Equality, Commerce, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 100%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising fourteen-year-old boys selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

    The nation is experiencing a severe shortage of sporting events, phone taps are frequently carried out by the police, the ban on cars has been repealed, and graffiti graces every city's streets. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Stevenlands's national animal is the butterfly, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the pound.


    Stevenlands is ranked 1st in the region and 4,287th in the world for Fastest-Growing Economies.

    I am about to leave work for lunch. Because of the urgency of this matter, we will keep voting open on Resolution #2 only until 3:00pm CST.

    Currently, we are 2-0 for Yay on Rocketstonville Resolution #2.

    Comrade Moochie would like to indicate that "The Republic of Stevenlands" represents a dire threat to our fair Rocketstonville and must be delt with immediately.

    It is our understanding that they are a spy from a much larger region than utah and as such are a grave danger.

    My bet is they are a game mod - we did spring out of nowhere to become 70 stong in a very short time, they had to notice that.

    Actually it might be the author...

    VERY interesting observation... I vote Yea, however, unless someone on the board steps forward and admits the nation to be theirs, whch doesn't seem too likely...

    my only concern is that he gets pissed that we kicked him out and decides to attack us. he might have equally strong allies waiting in hiding for such a provocative manuever.
