The kid can get anywhere on the court he wants. Though the defense in these pickup games can be suspect, when players are actually trying to play defense no one can stay in front of him. I'm sold on Jalen's ability to be an offensive juggernaut. Now I just need to see him play some solid defense.

Chomping at the bit to catch a glimpse of Coach Udoka's defensive principles during preseason.

This version isn;t nearly as long.

I liked how Jalen put his fingerprints all over the game at the end there. All tied up at 93 a piece and then Green and Durant put it away. Closer's close.

Really wish he was doing that against a better defender. At least we know he can score against the Kings.

So you've never seen him score like that before?

We knew he is explosive; we knew he can score, we knew he can "hoop".

I hope he can play winning basketball in the NBA. He has the tools, for sure.

Ime needs to get him to focus on defense.

Scoring has never been a problem. He always looks good in highlights. But how many shots did he take? Did his team win? His efficiency needs to rise significantly.

Was he able to guard anyone?

Tough crowd. At least he's doing it against NBA caliber players. It's kind of funny that folks are raving about Alpi going off on no name players but Jalen can't catch a break scoring with ease against actual NBA players. How many NBA players are on the Icelandic team? Were there even any NBA players on that Ukrainian team he put 30 on?

Nope. Just saying. If we are going to put disclaimers on positives for one player, let's keep it even folks.

nobody doing that in an off season open run. The point is to try things and NOT get injured

Why are we talking about alpi in here? But if we really wanna go there, every team alpi is playing against is playing for their Olympic berths, lose or go home. Jalen is playing an offseason scrimmage for the YouTube cameras. So if we are judging defensive intensity I think it’s even at best. But I’m appreciating both going off right now, if we are looking to do anything as a team next year we need both to break out.
