Why? What does the beating death of this person have to do with the death of Till?

Does this in some way justify the murder of Till? Why are you or the Xweeter worried about trying to justify the murder of Till?

 

if the races were reversed, there would be race riots and looting in every major US city

 

There's a pretty big difference between police officers, who get paid federal/state/local money to protect people, and random teenagers.

 

I mean that sucks and all but not at all like Till. The outrage of Till was not that he was brutally murdered. It was that white supremacy was so institutionalized that you can bring the murderers to court and no one would convict.

 

Question. Are they going to be charged with crimes?

 

Also that the original charge that Emmit Till was suspected of was totally false.

 

The races were reversed. Till was black and murdered. Because he was black and the killers were white, the justice wasn't applied.

So again, why the need to try and marginalize or diminish the Till tragedy and injustice?
