Thanks guys. Now, does anyone know how expensive it is at Frys? The NCAA game was about $13 cheaper, so if it's the same for Madden, it's well worth the little longer drive.
I got mine at Circuit City yesterday, they give you a $10 gift card if you buy it this week. Then I used my $10 gift card and applied it towards my new 40GB Ipod.....holy crap what a great day of technology shopping!!!!
honestly? is madden really THAT much better than nfl2k5 that you would pay $30 more for it? ive played madden EVERY YEAR and i love it but its still fifty bucks while 2k5 is twenty bucks...i may have to go a different route for one year this time.
Presentation is the only advantage ESPN has over Madden. The gameplay in Madden is wayyyyy better, and honestly I got sick of ESPN after 2 week whereas I'll play Madden until next spring.
In my opinion, the only things Madden 2005 have over ESPN is the franchise mode and maybe the passing game. ESPN beats it in presentation,running game,graphics and over all immersiveness. Madden: As you can see the player model are pretty wacked and out of proportion. ESPN: This is much better and more realistic and therefore better feel for the game. EA needs to do an overhaul on the graphic engine to even compete with ESPN.

How does the running game beat Madden? It's too freakin' easy. Scrubs like Aveion Cason can dominate like Sweetness in ESPN. But I guess if dominating all the time floats your boat...
exactly. Running in that game is so damn easy. tap x, charge then shoulder charge,tap x to break tackle, repeat. 200 yards on 15 carries may be fun for you, but is way to arcaeish for me.
