this dude is so young and almost unstoppable at times. imagine if Silas just let him go and do whatever. like Pop did for Manu.
From what I've seen, Sengun essentially is their team and he's the only guy for either team that has any business being on a basketball court.
He's not huffing and puffing late in the game. That conditioning coming through. Still think he should spend a summer in Denver with JoJo and Aquaman. The only thing I would be nit picky about is on the defensive end. He has to be decisive. He can't help in the middle of the paint and leave his matchup out at the 3 point line. Who cares if they drive to the basket and score if you were guarding your matchup at the three point. But if you stay in no man's land it's going to look bad.
I would be shocked if he doesn't cement his position as our franchise player next season. Clearly the best player on the floor, by far.
He's decisive enough, just sloppy. Trying to rely on reaching instead of smart play. I think he knows what he should be doing, but he'd rather be flashy, even on D. It's clear that he's maturing and he's super entertaining to watch on both ends.
Turkish head coach Ataman just said in his postgame interview that "When we started experiencing difficulties scoring the basketball, Alperen became our solution to this deadlock".
