and yet here you are quoting anecdotal evidence from Biden's book; your exact words: "If you read bidens book called , "promise me dad" he clearly says that Beaus friends in the military told biden that the reason Beau had brain cancer was bcz of the harmful chemicals Beau had to deal with in the army."
Yes bcz biden was told by numerous doctors at Walter Reed that his deployment had a role in it. These are his words not my. Who the hell are we to question what a grieving dad was told by his doctors? Grow up jesus
I just don't understand these right wing losers. Who are we to question what a grieving father was told by his sons doctors who just died? This isn't even a republican or Democrat thing. If trump lost a son and his doctor was told it was by xxx cause I would never question it. It's his personal business. These right wingers are scumbags @tallanvor .I don't care who's feeling I hurt
I can find no evidence to support these claims that "doctors at Walter Reed" told Biden that burn pits caused his son's brain cancer. If you have a link or a direct passage from Biden's book, I'd be interested to see it on edit: I am seeing fairly general reporting on the topic, such as this PBS article: Biden addresses possible link between son’s fatal brain cancer and toxic military burn pits https://www.pbs.org/newshour/health...tal-brain-cancer-and-toxic-military-burn-pits
He sincerely truly believes burn pits killed his son. I'm not sure if he was specifically told by someone at Walter Reed but he has access to classified info and he knows more than we do The bottom line is biden truly believes burn pits killed his son and that's his judgement
And that’s why sometimes it takes decades to see a real pattern. What they burn (a known cancer-causing toxin) and the amount it releases were deemed above acceptable levels. But do they actually lead to cancer? It’s hard to establish, especially when data was not well kept. Burn pot-related health data didn’t officially start until around 2012, if I recall correctly. Nevertheless, studies do suggest a connection. Here is one from late 2018. https://www.foxnews.com/us/burn-pit...ncer-mortality-rate-among-army-vets-new-study U.S. veterans who were deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan have a higher rate of contracting cancer due to exposure to open-air burn pits, a recently released medical research study has found. The study, titled, “Deployed Veterans Have Higher Proportionate Cancer Mortality from Exposure to Open-Air Burn Pits,” and authored by researchers at Augusta University in Georgia, found that the more exposure service members had to burn pits while they served, the higher the chance of developing serious cancers and other ailments. The authors of the study used data culled by a veteran advocacy group that began a registry of those who succumbed to illness after their exposure to burn pits, which were used during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to dispose of everything from trash to medical waste -- which was often set ablaze with jet fuel as an accelerant. The burn method released toxic clouds of smoke that hung over military bases. The registry was created in response to a separate registry created by the Veterans Administration that does not include veterans who died. “These findings support the need for rigorously designed epidemiologic studies on burn pits and adverse health outcomes,” Rosie Lopez, founder of advocacy group Burn Pits 360, which provided the data to Augusta University, tells Fox News.
fair enough. I agree with you that he most likely believes the burn pits contributed or caused his son's brain cancer
Read the book that biden talks about called burn pits and it clearly lays out exactly how Beau got cancer possibly. There's an entire chapter on his son. Imagine if you lost your son and someone wrote a book detailing how he could've died. Tough
I do not disagree that chemical exposure is a risk factor for cancer; I simply am aware that toxicologists and neurologists routinely caution against confident assertions of causality. Plenty of brain cancer patients have NO history of chemical exposure for example--in which case the cause(s) may be entirely genetic. The point is that we don't know with any confidence what caused Beau Biden's cancer . . . even if it is possible, if not probable, that the chemical exposure he was subjected to was a contributing factor.
Yes, offering comfort to a grieving person. So evil, so arrogant. Do you ever just stop and read the dumb ass **** that you post?
Yeah, the facts are there for people to see, but at the end of the day, it's his decision and his responsibility to own it. What some people want is for him to admit he "broke Afghanistan" and then break his brittle back "fixing it" or suffer a pound of flech. Pssshh, I'm still waiting for my class action check against Bush, Cheney, and Company. The military botched it because Afghanistan was a money pit and slush fund for the entire apparatus. $500 pre-inflation wrenches and screwdrivers? Is Afghanistan located at Mars? Might as well be since it took 15 years to get the **** outta there. But no one wants to cross the military in public, lest you want to appear as a drug addled hippie. Even now, Biden is boosting military and spy industrial apparatuses (apparati?) Yet another reminder that war is ****ed, and no one should ever want to dive into that Flag and Country stuff they blare across the airwaves when it's time to subjugate some poor folks halfway around the war. The mother thought she was special because her son got a purple heart. She wasn't. He wasn't. If he really were special, he would be sending, their old asses to the front lines.
true story: that Purple Heart was made in anticipation of casualties from Operation Downfall...the invasion of the Japanese mainland.
you should read the Bob Woodward book about the early days of the Biden admin. The military walked into the oval office and told Biden that trump signed a dumb peace deal and that the military did zero preparation for the withdrawal and that they recommended keeping 2k troops. Biden told Miley that he saw his former colleague tell Obama the same thing in 2009 and he wasn't going fall for the same ****. He told Miley he was pulling the plug cold turkey and he said it was all a scam to Miley face. I think military purposely ****ed up the withdrawal just so Biden could change his mind last moment and surge troops and kick out the taliban. Nobody in the military thought biden was going go through and that's why I respect Biden more than anyone else. Biden took on the deep deep state and he won. People call biden old but no other person would've taken on the military. He saw what happened with Obama and he learned from it. This is why having old leaders isn't a bad thing at all. These morons worship trump @Commodore when trump didn't do a damn thing agaisnt the deep state. Huge tax cuts and deregulation is a wet dream for the deep state but these people are in a cult
How many of those "vacations" are actually Biden going to his nearby Delaware home on weekends? And compared to trump, how many of his "vacation" trips are with the intent to promote his businesses (as many of trump's trips were to his resorts where he did "appearances" for his club members?
This article is a few months old, but it compares Biden's and trump's "vacations" ... Biden leaves D.C. as much as Trump did — but there’s a difference https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2023/05/22/biden-trump-trips-compared/
