    Crazy isn't it? Who actually thinks a professional player would ever say anything like the fake quote says? Not to mention Justin Verlander, who is widely known as one of best competitors in baseball, actually saying that he is scared of the pressure of October baseball? I just remembered how to use the ignore list as I am sure skygods will double down on this somehow.

    IKR. Can someone please take over and out us back on course. I need baseball trades that might or theoretically could happen. Not Verlander miss quotes about shining away from pressure the playoffs in October from a faux account.

    Likely a guy who needs to go to a team not trying to win it all right now to get a better chance
    only if you are willing to tear it completely down in the offseason if it doesn’t go good enough the rest of the year that he decides to stay after all

    They are likely about to move more of their prospects to boost their 8% playoff chances. They will have 76 million a year locked up in two players who rarely play, and very little good cheap young talent

    Honestly I think this is simply about money. They almost sold the team last offseason but chose not to. If Ohtani is worth 10-15 million in revenue the rest of the season and they are planning on selling anyway, they don’t give a crap about what the organization will be left with talent wise

    Gentle reminder... if anything is leaked that says "In discussion" or "favored"... its not likely to happen or is a designed leak by either party (likely the agent).

    The tweet will be either the trade has already been agreed upon or is "close to agreement".
