    Nothing you do on the internet, or nothing you can't personally influence, is really worth getting angry about.

    I fail at this from time to time, so this is more of a reminder to myself than to anyone else.

    Sometimes it just feels good to rage at something that’s pointless and stupid so you don’t hold it in even if your rage is also pointless and stupid.

    Agreed. I’m all for the “wisdom to know the difference” between what I can control and what I should accept. But, venting some frustration and then moving on to important things with a calmer mind can be nice…

    Where can you find a pitchers ERA with certain catchers? I assume it would be available, but I can't find it on any of the typical sites

    Framber has not had any other catcher catch him this year but Maldy

    Javier - 1.80 ERA in 5 innings with Diaz, 1.50 ERA in 6 innings with Salazar and 4.65 ERA in 91 innings with Maldy

    Brown - 3.15 ERA in 45.2 innings with Diaz and 4.98 ERA in 59.2 innings with Maldy

    France is virtually even 2.88 vs 2.86

    Bielak - 3.44 ERA in 18.1 innings with Diaz, 3.52 ERA in 35.2 innings with Maldy and 4.02 ERA in 15.2 innings with Salazar

    Didn't Dusty say that Hunter Brown has to learn to have different catchers in case Maldy gets hurt? Why doesn't that apply the other way around?

    baseball reference, pull up the pitcher and go to the splits

    iirc, you can't look up a catcher and see all of the pitchers' stats, which would be fun and useful
