    Cruise is a bad ass, who would you compare him with as far as Hollywood Elite of the past...........do you think he compares to someone like John Wayne as far as machismo and star power or someone like Jimmy Stewart who always did well in any role?

    Watched it yesterday afternoon at an early screening and even though it's nearly 3 hours long it just flies by. There are 2 major action set pieces and they are just so much fun, I really enjoyed the Italy set car chase a lot but both work really well. The cast is solid across the board but Haley Atwell nearly steals the show, it's perfect role for her. Minor issues, the story is a fairly straightforward get the McGuffin and Esai Morales just isn't quite as menacing or threatening as he should be and some of the supporting characters could have been fleshed out a bit. Minor issues though, I enjoyed it from start to finish. Strong A-

    This movie was absolutely badass. I have never seen a film franchise get better with sequels. WOW!

    Given that he was the pretty boy in the hayday of Stallone, Arnold, and "everyman" Bruce Willis, you could argue folks like Brad Pitt or diCaprio are compared with him...

    Cruise does it again! Very entertaining movie. It’s what a summer blockbuster should be

    Some minor gripes, mainly the pick pocket girl and her role is super annoying. But it’s great Ethan Hunt and very interesting ‘bad guy’. Look forward to the second part.

    "Hayley Atwell nearly steals the show" you say. Oh, yeah. Plus she's smoking hot. Did I mention that she's smoking hot? Because she is. Smoking hot.

    You're right also in Esai Morales isn't a scary villain. The dude from the last films (glasses?) was a great bad guy. And one character's plot twist here is painfully predictable. Hell, you know it before the film begins.

    But very good flick, too bad it got buried by Barbieheimer.
