Which set's the standard for whether anyone needs to appear before grand juries. Every criminal can now think "I haven't done anything wrong" and refuse to appear.

Should Trump go to prison, Pence and DeSantis will be the first to act like they were tough and always supported holding him accountable.
I think that will depend on where polling is at in the Republican Party. If there is still strong support for Trump in the GOP and he is sent to prison I expect DeSantis and many other Elected Republicans will be decrying it as a miscarriage of Justice and saying they’ll pardon him if they become President.
