Sarah Palin: 'We've got to stand with our North Korean allies'

Sarah Palin never claimed she could see Russia from her house, but the GOP's VP pick, at the time, couldn't explain why North and South Korea were separate nations.

She didn't know what the Federal Reserve Bank did.

Asked who attacked America on 9/11, the former Gov of Alaska suggested several times that it was Saddam Hussain.
And asked to identify the enemy that her son would be fighting in Iraq, she drew a blank.

This is likely the last of many poor life decisions made by this American soldier.

He is in for a world of hurt, gonna assume he has some mental issues or just plain stupidity.

Yea, this poor solider needs some help, he escaped his handlers taking him to the airport and bolted for N Korea which makes no sense. I wonder if being in jail messed him up but dam, he is a US solider so I hope they can work something out, I think I would rather be in prison then in N Korea

North Koreans are fighting starvation as the Hermit Kingdom continues its isolation from the rest of the world.

Three residents of the totalitarian state secretly communicated with the BBC for months, detailing the horrors of watching their neighbors starve to death as they struggle to survive what may prove to be an even worse hunger crisis than North Korea’s famine in the 1990s, which killed three million people.

“At first, I was afraid of dying from Covid,” one construction worker told the broadcaster, “but then I began to worry about starving to death.”

Following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Pyongyang took steps to seal off its borders with Russia and China, constructing hundreds of miles of fences along its frontiers.

Authorities have also reportedly ordered guards to gun down anyone attempting to cross its borders.

Just FYI, in the past other U.S. soldiers who have had dubious legal situations/personal lives have defected to North Korea and haven't been tortured. They've had varying degrees of quality of life/adjustment living in North Korea.

I mean, he might be tortured but it's not necessarily a guarantee. He could become a propaganda piece. I think it's been awhile since we've had a soldier defect into NK. I'm not sure what the current climate of the North Korean authorities are for such a defection.

Not all of the Americans that defected to North Korea had it so bad. James Dresnok left a likely court martial, a family that abandoned him and a cheating wife - and in North Korea he became a movie star, they provided him beautiful Eastern European women and ultimately kidnapped him a pretty Romanian wife.... when she died of cancer, they brough him a new wife of his choosing.... he has a life pension, his kids all went to college and are high ranking in the North Korean military. He also got all the food and liquor he could want.

I saw a documentary on him years back and found it to be quite interesting. Something tells me this man won't get that same level of care and freedom.
