My guess is in time for the Rangers series, unless the Astros manage to lose the first 2 in Oakland then they may get activated early.

I don't think Altuve needs a rehab stint.

Eovaldi also has never been durable throughout his career. He’s played 12 seasons now and he’s an inning away from the 4th most innings he’s ever thrown in the regular season. Only three times (four after his next start) has he surpassed 125 innings and two of those seasons came back in 2014 and 2015.

The Rangers collectively this season have had good fortune injury wise outside of Degrom, which everyone could see that one coming.

Rangers have been up against the most injured team this entire season.

    That's part of their luck

Dusty is playing him for leadership and the locker room. He knows Maldy is struggling.

    Maldy hit .186 last year

he hit .172 the year before that.

    I’m sure Dusty knows he’s struggling…..for 3 years.

Very impressive considering he's been mostly near the bottom of the line-up and had very spotty starts for most of the season. He's starting to hit RHP better. He's steadily improved every season. I hope Pena can do the same...

I still think Pena needs to be hitting 2nd once Yordan gets back, but right now that's a really tough sell to then force Abreu to the 6th spot and Chas to 7th in the lineup.

    Altuve
    Pena
    Alvarez
    Bregman
    Tucker
    Abreu
    McCormick
    Diaz
    Julks/Dubon

I wish to God Dusty would commit to this 5-6 times a week.

Outright release Maldonado so you can't slip up and reinsert him as your starting catcher. Brown needs assert his power and make that move.

This lineup doesn't need a trade deadline move other than a bench depth player who is versatile.

Chas was one of the worst slider hitters last season which gave pitchers a way to get him out. He's elite this season, and weird funk against LHPs masked that he's made a dramatic improvement against RHPs. I don't expect him to continue to be this great, but he looks like a good hitter now.

    4th/5th/6th starting pitchers

    Bielak/France/Blanco/Dubin a collective 11-9, 3.63 era.

    That's not our problem.

Our problem is the #2 and #3 starters and the bullpen.

Watching the Angels torture the Yankees and their fans is very enjoyable for me.

Oh whoopteedoo, he got on for a change. That's proven to be the exception to the rule, even a broken clock is right twice a day. Dusty shouldn't be using Bligh period, at least Myers has hit a homerun recently.
