So you're saying Alpi and Jonas Valaciunas is the same height?

It’s what’s listed, Jokic is taller than 6’11 and his wingspan is probably closer to 7’4-5

That's exactly what Ive been saying....size matters. I'm not sold on Sengun at PF nor am I giving up on him at center. I want to see how he functions under Udoka.

I think the similarities between him and Horford are immense. And Udoka made it work.

Pretty easy to tell, and this is before another growth spurt by Alp

Valaciunas is at least 2' taller than Sengun. Every game we played against him, he dominated the paint.

This isjust a snippet to show the two on the court together but if younwatch the whole game, you can see the difference in the two

It’s literally right there with them face to face.
Jonas is at most 1/2 inch taller than Alp last season.
    But keep on being ignorant

And using your ignorant logic, if that’s 2 inches then Alp is at minimum 6” taller than Brooks with the picture you keep clamoring on about

I think alphi has a long neck. Look at Valenciuniois shoulders, they’re a few inches higher than Senguns. Which means his actual functional height is smaller (hence his seemingly short wingspan also, it’s probably more normal when compared to his shoulder height)

Sengun has a Davis Mills neck. Looknat the shoulders.....there is a sizeable difference.

Im not against Sengun because I know its going to take time to get bigger....but in the interim, like I said initially, WE NEED ANOTHER BIG

For sure. I’ve said this for a while now. It only affects standing reach and a lot of it has to do with his posture.
His wingspan is average to slightly above average. Standing reach is not ideal.
But, if he’s grown and his wingspan has grown as well he is not anywhere close to being undersized in any capacity

Are you blind? They are literally within a half inch of each other.
Blind and ignorant isn’t a good combination

I read this whole thread, much to my damn chagrin.

Your EXAMPLE was an EXAMPLE of a roster playing two 6'7 guys at 4 and 5.

Our roster is an EXAMPLE of a team with three 6'11 guys. Not sure there's much more to discuss here, thank god.

If you had just said "Size is important in the NBA" everyone would have agreed with you, doesn't need a new thread at all. But acting like our roster doesn't have legitimate bigs makes this just dumb
