Hope all you fans of small ball enjoyed the Championship game tonight. Real fun watching Mobley have his way against our short guys. Get used to it with 6’4 Tate as our backup PF. Eason doesn’t have the size ws well and will get just as toasted as Hinton and other hustlers. Rockets needed to get bigger this offseason and definitely did not. Expect frustration on a nightly basis with our short team getting consistently outrebounded. Small ball doesn’t work!!!
Not at all….love Sengun and he’s growing. That Jock dude is tall too, but 6’4 Tate or whomever else we have at backup PF is going to get taken to the shed like Mobley did to our shorter guys tonight. Just saying we need to go out and get a tall backup big because we’re going to be playing 7’3” Wembleyana and others six times a year. Tired of watching teams miss shot after shot and constantly get the rebounds because our guys are 5 inches shorter. Why was Hutchins constantly guarding Mobley??? Some things never change with Rockets basketball.

I have no idea why the Rockets have so many Small Forwards to Try Out but Zero Centers. The First Few Games had me concerned and of course Todays Blow Out Happened.
Dude when I looked through these summer league rosters of other teams by the time it reached the semi finals, I barely could recognize any more names. Every team was pulling out their main team everyday rotational pieces and lottery picks
we lost our starting C (huff) signed to another team. our starting forwards and best players jabari and tari played only 2 games our giant PG played only 1 game we started the summer league with a huge team lol. the idea that stone thinks small ball works is silly.
Loaded with guards and small forwards, seriously lacking big guys. Jock Landale is it as far as big backups and that’s assuming we go a full season with no injuries to Sengun or Smith. Injury to one of those two and welcome Tate or another mid 6 footer to the starting lineup. Thought this would be addressed by adding more than just Landale. Guess we still have Boban, but not sure he makes the cut.
Boban got like 2 min a game left in him. Every time he walks I feel like his knee is just going to pop like in that South Park episode where Kyle wanted to be taller and had surgical leg extensions with testicles for knee caps and tried to do a dunk , landed and his testicles exploded, the ones in his knees. When Boban moves it looks like he got ticking time bombs in those knees.
I’m not talking summer league you moron. Learn how to read and my issue is with no BACKUP poer forward. Last time I looked, the 6’11” guy you are referring to was the starting power forward. We currently have a 6’4” guy, Tate, slated on the depth chart as our backup (1) power forward.
