Nobody is hyped about the scoring..you look at the improvements, but pistons literally had their starting lineup without cade.. that's a NBA team not just summer leaguers , the iq improvements, handing improvements , more polish to the game , jabari has every single game to be great . Best thing about is his improvement is that he definitely using more Durant type go to offensive moves to be better, Tari improved around the rim, handles gotten better, but self shot creating , you don't look for just the scoring , their defense , lateral movements improved just IQ overall
Ironically, if this was Sengun there wouldn't be enough underwear in the world for OP. Speaking of, how does is this twat not rookified yet?
Am i the only one who doesn't care who the franchise player is or who becomes it? Just as long as the Rockets play good I couldn't care who it is as long as they are in a Rox jersey lol
Sengun-only fans literally threatened that some other Rockets player had a good game without him. And telling US to chill. fk outta here.
This a low key "Hey guys, Jabari's looking better than we thought. But Sengun's gonna be okay" thread
What kind of mental disorder do you have to have where you feel to need to scold fans for being excited about a good performance? It's fine if you can't experience the joy but there's no need to spread that **** to anyone else. Wallow in your own misery.
Not a Rockets fan if you can’t be excited about the young guys showing promise and in Jabari’s case he looks like a much improved player. The deeper the talent on the team, the better we will be. Doesn’t matter who is what, need talent to show up for the team
I am glad to see Jabari step it up although a former #3 pick after a full year as a starter should be able to dominate in the summer league even though he sucked most of last season. We already knew Tari was a player from last year so he too should dominate against this level of competition after a year in the NBA. Cam is the one I am glad to see stepping it up. I wish Amen was still able to play.
100% this. The year over year growth is clear even if it has only been a few games . The talent level may not be playoff quality, but that doesn't mean the growth isn't valid - especially in the case of guys like Jabari that clearly look FAR more prepared to exploit defensive mistakes than he did this time last year. It's also been nice to see that Amen didn't appear to be negatively impacted in any sense with a higher quality of player in the Summer League vs OTE.
first of all jabari can handle the ball this year he seems to take responsiblity at clucth, tari is no different than last year except he shot more %. cam needs to be a team player but amen seems he can take pg position after all star break. bari needs to be strenghten and seems he is adding his bag some of sengun's staff( post play ,patiance in post etc.)
and if they suck in SL, you would hear "can't believe he can't beat our G leaguers and guys on the way out of the league!"; goes both ways man
Also worth noting Tari appears to play much more in control than this time last year and in limited play appears to have tighter handles - another net positive that will hopefully help him evolve into a top tier player. I imagine it's only a matter of time before he is ahead of Brooks in the depth chart.
I thought about this seriously though... What if Stone hit on multiple picks? It's pretty crazy to think about but the Warriors dynasty was built on hitting on three guys. Green, Klay, and Curry. Out of Sengun, Cam, Amen, Jalen, Jabari, Tari...do we see three guys there that could be part of a championship core? Right now it looks possible, you can't rule any of these guys out right now. Cam and Amen, okay, TBD, they have no NBA tape on them. Sengun, Bari, Jalen, Tari? Realistically he has to hit on two to have a championship core and then maybe swing a trade for the third piece but I'm feeling good about the rebuild so far.
