I do not think Ausar fit well with Cade and Ivey. Detroit will trade him now because it is too soon. I think at the end of the year we might have a chance. Honestly, at the end of the year I would give up Dillion Brooks(having a good year), Cam and a FRP. Ausar can be a defensive stopper and a enforcer. He is a elite defender, way better than Amen. Simply not true. Especially from non Rocket fans who just look at true shooting percentage and RAPTOR and assume Sengun is faultless and the one bright spot of the Rockets. Have you followed NBA Twitter discourse on the Rockets?
Our fanbase has a strong contingent of haters for all our young guys except maybe Tari. All of KPJ, Sengun, Jabari and Green have a strong contingent of strong haters within the fanbase. Outside the fanbase Sengun is easily the most beloved player on this team by a wide wide wide margin.
I wish we could get him at just about any cost. He and his brother on the same team would be amazing. Keeping the Thompson family together here in Houston and good things will happen.
