KPJ was a great player. In high school he was called Washington Mr. Basketball, he was suppose to be a Star at USC but attitude problems, left Cleveland because of new players that were acquired, then became jealous. He called himself, the leader of the team…the head hauncho. I hope he has learned, we need him starting on the bench…nice player

That would interesting and fun to watch FVV - Amen Green - KPJ Brooks - Tate or Whitmore Jabari - Eason Sengun - Jocky
I'm not 100% sure they weren't be starters Considering spacing is important & KPJ & Tari were our 2 best shooters last year. Tari for me is special as he doesn't need the ball. I expect there will be more mouths to feed offensively with FVV Brooks Amen additions. And the others making a step up. Jabari looks so good in Summer league with the ball in his hands.
How was Tari one of our two best shooters? I think KPJ and Green were our clear two best shooters. Green had the same 3pt percentage as Tari... But on stupid crazy off the dribble looks vs Tari getting that 3 pt percentage off of open catch and shoot attempts. Scrub to 5:58 and you'll see the abject difference in shooting ability and the type of shots Eason vs Green take. Listen to the Pacers commentator and hear what he says about Green relative to Eason on that play. "He doesn't want to shoot a jump shot(referring to Tari, ball then swings to Green with seconds remaining)... But he will.... He will.... Because that kid can play" Basically Green is the Rockets release valve when the offensive set can't generate a look. Time running out? Dump it to Jalen and he'll do something. I think he led the NBA in shot attempts from being the recipient of a pass with less than five seconds left... An indicator that Green was seen as a safety blanket when time was running out.
KPJ needs to think about what he wants for his career. He could choose a path to fight to be an above average starter or choose to chase Lou Will and be one of the greatest 6th men of all-time. He has the potential to do that.
Green? In fact he does it more often statistically and even better... He does it on less time of possession as his crossover and blow by ability is a lot more violent which means he doesn't need to pound the ball on the hardwood to lull defenders as long as KPJ to blow by defenders.
