The fact his effort was so s**t, even in a contract year, scared off everybody that might have wanted to take a chance.

Makes sense. With his level of dedication he’s lucky to receive anything.

Would you take a humbled Wood who's ready to work back on a vet minimum 1 + team option contract to compete for backup center minutes?

Absolutely. Anybody on a vet minimum is worth it. Wood would provide even more value because he could be an in-house Scared Straight video. A walking cautionary tale.

The Dallas Mavs. Where Chandler Parsons Project and CWood Max go to die. So let it be written, so let it be done.

Yes! I'd also take a fully revived and back to 30 years old Kobe Bryant, which is equally realistic.

Who says he's humbled, though? He's had a lot of chances to be humbled. He was telling that story when he joined the Rockets.

C'mon, a vet like Wood could teach our young core how to not give a shtt!

    C. Wood will never change. Always will be a toxic locker room player who thinks he's a superstar or too good to be playing defense.

There's a chance if he plays well on the Fakers, he can redeem himself tho. Seems like any bum on the Lakers playing next to Lebron suddenly is seen as an elite role player.

In other news, I can't wait for Kyrie's next blowout cuz seeing the Mavs fail is just hilarious. Luka is gonna ask out sooner or later.

How does a guy who can give you 20 on close to 60 TS% not be able to get a job. I know he doesn't play D, but how many people in the NBA do?

Has to be the asking price and him being an asshat off the court as well.

By being such a turnstile at the most important defensive position that he's giving up more than he's getting you
