dodged a bullet there, but I doubt we can muster a hit.
Dusty took over hitting coach duties, told them to swing on the first pitch and swing freely and early. no walks, they're useless.

it was working until it's not.

dubon has fallen back to earth after a torching hot start.

    Diaz saw 5 pitches !!!.. That's a win

This series conjures 90's playoff Astros

It’s funny how Dusty felt the need to announce publicly that Maldy would catch the entire Mariners series after the success Diaz had catching and hitting in the Rockies series. It’s like he’s protecting his feelings.

Dana Brown says in an interview he wants to see more Diaz appearances, Dusty immediately strips Diaz of his catching starts and then feels the need to bring up publicly that Maldy brings more than hitting. It’s no coincidence.

Chas steals with no slide with a throw

Won't see anyone do that often

    Bring him home

Well they got a runner to third! And Jake can’t hit much either.

No, regular squat, right knee slightly closer to ground. Ball bounced, but straight. Like it hit maldy without making him move.

Diaz was catching. Maldy pretty much gave up 1 run single handily allowing an easy steal and dropped catches.

He's gotten incredibly lazy about getting his chest over the ball, but like I said I didn't see this one, so no idea how egregious it was.
