Atlanta-W LA CLippers-W Minnesota-W @Phoenix-W Denver-W Philadelphia-W @Denver-W @San Antonio-L LA Lakers-L Dallas-W @Sacrament-L @Portland-L @Seattle-WWWWWWWW @LA Clippers-W Sacramento-W @Memphis-W If the Rockets beat the teams they are supposed to beat, and win a few home games against good teams, they should end November with a record of 12-4. That's right, 12-4. But, knowing the Rockets, they will probably go 10-6, or 9-7, and finish the month as the 9th seed. I really hope that the Rockets play up to their potential for once, but they won't. I know they won't. ------------------ Protrolls.com! Keep the ???? alive! The ZRBucks!
not sure if this has been posted, but i just did a quick search, and the rox have 10 nationally televised games on tnt (i think 1 or 2 of those is tbs) but nothing on nbc ------------------ president of the sleepy floyd to hall of fame club. http://www.it-is-truth.org http://members.fortunecity.com/omar369
Smokey actually posted this topic 6 minutes ahead of tozai. ------------------ So you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking, Racing around to come up behind you again. The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older, Shorter of breath and one day closer to death.
Yo ZRB, you might want to change at least one of those Clipper games to an "L"...We were the Clippers' b**** last year Also, I noticed you have eight wins against Seattle...Is that one of those new rule changes?? The ability to get multiple wins against a single opponent on one night?? If that's the case, I think the Rockets will go 179-30... ------------------ Mein bratwurst has a first name, it's F-R-I-T-Z Mein bratwurst has a second name, it's S-C-H-N-A-C-K-E-N-P-F-E-F-F-E-R-H-A-U-S-E-N
My prediction: Atlanta - W LA Clippers - W Minnesota - L @ Phoenix - L Denver - W Philadelphia - W @ Denver - W @ San Antonio - L LA Lakers - L Dallas - W @ Sacramento - W @ Portland - L @ Seattle - W @ LA Clippers - L Sacramento - L @ Memphis - W Nov Record: 9-7 ------------------ Get Ready
zrb - if you want the rockets to win every game they 'should' then there going to lose every game they 'should'. you cant have it both ways. you win some you shouldnt (upsets) and lose some you probably should have won. cant go 4-0 vs every non playoff team. ------------------ the nuggets suck...i know, i know!
Don't try it Nugzfan, I'm NOT going to give the Nuggets a win over the Rockets! ------------------ Protrolls.com! Keep the ???? alive! The ZRBucks!
anyone know if UPN 20 is carrying only away games like they used to or will they do both? i love the rockets but don't want them to pre-empt Buffy the Vampire Slayer on Tuesdays. ------------------
awwww man. no seriously thats not what i meant. its just i remember you saying this stuff last year. it just doesnt work that way. win some, lose some ------------------ the nuggets suck...i know, i know!
Someone posted that UPN 20 is going to mirror UPN programming as closely as possible. That may mean Tuesday road games will be on FSN in exchange for home games on other nights. ------------------ Get Ready
but jamma did not post a question, and he was more accurate than your link. It is called, supporting the first poster in redundant news links. bump
Perhaps the other thread should never had started and this all could be consolidated into one. However, given the lack of many interestign threads these days, combined with the fact that the lack of national tv exposure last year created quite a ruckus, i think it is certainly ok to have one thread discussing the schedule from a win/loss perspective and another from a tv exposure perspective. Additionally, jamma stated that he had searched but not found anything on the fact that they were going to be on natioanl tv at least 8 times. In fact, there wasa something on it, and i was just pointing this out, especially cause it seems like jamma himself wanted to know, perhaps to discuss in a thread where other people are discussing it. The details of proper posting are quite complex Perhaps we should write a rulebook. This would probably be one of those sections/subsections things. ------------------ [This message has been edited by JayZ750 (edited July 26, 2001).]
Great...looks like NBC's obsession with lakers, knicks and philadelphia will most likely continue... ------------------ "George W. is like a hybrid of his father and Dan Quayle" - P. Mesku
