You right wingers want it both ways. You b**** about him being "sleepy Joe" and then get angry when they find cocaine at the White House. Isn't Sleepy Joe trying to remedy the sleepy part with the cocaine?

    White House press briefing:

    https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing...ing-by-press-secretary-karine-jean-pierre-41/

    excerpt:

Q Maybe this episode kind of shines a light on the fact that you can bring in illegal substances into the White House. So what’s preventing a visitor from bringing in anthrax or something that’s not magnetic into the White House?

MS. JEAN-PIERRE: No, look, Weijia, I totally understand the question, but it is under investigation. We’re going to get to the bottom to exactly what happened — the Secret Service will, not us. And so, we’re going to let the Secret Service do their job.

I've been to the White House. I know I could have smuggled in coke easily.

Can't wait to talk to my FIL (former Secret Service) about this over summer vacation. Lol.

It was too hopeful of me to assume some here could let go of their Twitter addiction...not worried so much about the cocaine.

Dan Bongino either has high blood pressure or snorts a lot of coke. I trust his judgement on coke related issues.

This would have been a non story if the location wouldn't have changed 3x. The admin citing of the Hatch Act in not discussing this leads me to believe this has something to do with a campaign.

What group of wealthy white men with little individual merit don't do loads of coke? It's like the go to drug for privileged neptiosm white boys.

Trump Jr, Hunter, etc. I'm sure they all have great times with coke.

    @Os Trigonum

Is it okay to call Dan Bongino a fascist given his "we need to crack more skulls to solve society's problems" outlook on life or is that too offensive?

And why do Libertarians love him given his desire for more state power in violence? I think it has to do with my theory that American libertarianism is just fascism wrapped in a pretty bow.

This is a weird uproar. Someone dropped a small amount of cocaine. Okay.

Cocaine is illegal, and perhaps someone has an addiction. I hope they get help if they need it.

But it isn't a sign of mass corruption no matter who dropped it. It isn't as if the administration was dealing.

Similar dropped packages might be found in office buildings, subways, college campus buildings, city streets, etc.

The area has traffic from countless aids, security, cleaning personel, food staff, officials, family members, guests, etc. Any of them might have had some coke on them and dropped it.

maybe not mass corruption, but it will be a massive problem for the administration if it (a) turns out to have been "dropped" by Hunter, and if (b) it turns out that the White House and the Secret Service knew it was Hunter Biden's drugs right from the moment it was discovered, or shortly thereafter. Then the attempt to mask or otherwise cover up that knowledge becomes a corrupt act, and one that is in keeping with the suspicions that many have that Joe Biden is not only protecting his son, but Joe Biden is integrally linked up with and woven into the sum total of his son's illegal activities--drug use included.

So no, not mass corruption. But could very well be corruption . . . and if I were betting on it, I'd put the odds somewhere north of 50/50 at this point.
