Our young guys have never played in a structured environment with a coach that demands accountability. I don’t care if Barnes felt put down by FVV. Good! If you can’t handle veteran criticism, you are soft. our young guys need a dose of tough love. Play-time is over. I don’t care about their feelings. Gonna sound like the old guy, but put your head down, shut your mouth, and earn your respect with your play. That’s how it’s been done for decades. It works.
And Scottie replied "who are you?". Scottie has no respect for the vets. Folks blaming the Raptors crap on FVV might need to look at Scottie's role in the dysfunction too
Scottie was bad this last year, and I believe I saw some mentions about his work ethic during the year, stuff people replied or mentioned Eric Koreen in. Maybe Nurse was out because he couldn't control the new kids, and FVV left because he didn't want anymore of that, plus the bag. Apparently Masai wanted FVV back (good signal) but botched the trade deadline and screwed their cap and options, preventing them from keeping him without getting rid of too many assets.
