I've noticed FVV has a third year as a team option... so we can drop his third year and sign a max guy just before Jalen and Sengun get extensions. If they aren't sure on either of them yet, we don't have to extend them early. At that point we keep the 3rd year of FVV as an expiring contract because Green and Sengun have 47.5 million in cap holds preventing signing someone outright. I find it odd they held onto all their future picks but it makes sense if they need them with FVV to get a star in a few years...
