No I got this all figured out. That guy in Los Angeles is the reincarnation of Zan and you are Zan on CF case closed. Accept your reincarnation.

Solid b/u 5, who can start in a pinch. Decent all around skills, good BBIQ and true hustle guy. Love these kind of players because their effort and energy are often contagious. Needs to work on his 3pt shooting percentage, but he is capable of shooting the ball from distance and has a nice variety of ways to score in close.

He is a great backup C for our team. Still young, has good size, plays team ball, knows his role and brings energy. Glad we got him. 1 yr guarantee so it’s a good deal for us moving forward.

Been doing a little more looking into this guy and I think he's a good fit. Sneakily a pretty solid defender, not a lockdown rim protector by any means, but he plays with a lot of energy and physicality and he's got ideal size for the position. By all reports he is a hardworking high-character dude and the fans in Phoenix loved him. He has some potential as a shooter--unlike Garuba, he's not afraid to take threes, and yeah, the percentages weren't there this season, but they were better as a rookie and the sample size has been pretty limited. He's good at drawing fouls and finishing through contact and has some PnR and post scoring skills, and he's a willing passer.

Totally fine with this pickup and I think he fills the need for a backup big in a way that Garuba couldn't due to his size and passive approach on offense.

A good big men in the NBA are hard to find. We are paying him 8 million a year…that’s a lot. He is not a interior defender, but a offense center, who can shoot a 3 pointer. I would have taken Bismack Biyombo from Phoenix not Landale. I believe we panicked after the Lopez deal went south. This was not a great deal.

I love the FVV, Brooks and Jeff Green deal but 8 million for Landale was too much…

It's only 1 year guarantee. 8 mil for a back up who might not even get heavy mins, not the end of the world.

Thanks for "All i care about is Alperen" option, proudly voted. You need to learn how to spell his name correctly tho, it will come handy for you in the future.

8 million is a lot. I know it’s a 1 year contract but we gave up money for a true interior defender. He is a 3rd center on a good team. We need another center for Sengun backup. He is better than Garuba because he is bigger….6’11 and 255lbs

This was not a signing for him, I know it was for 1 year but 8 million for a practice center for Sengun…

stone got a decent backup center. made the contract so tradable that he will surely be packaged with something for something better at the deadline.

needed a stopgap after Lopez surprised us. only used the room exception, keeping our remaining cap space free to spend.

    A- deal.

Anytime he scratches himself people should point at him and say "Jock itch."

Speaking of that, where is this year's "we're making the play-in" thread. Does that exist yet? Or was Brook Lopez the tipping point?

    Also:
Jock Landale is an inknown commodity.
(Also, holy crap, the 16th anniversary of that mini-meme on Clutchfans.)
