Dubon has played a big part in this seriea. He must play even if Pena is back. Chas has been hot this series so him too.
Dubon/Chas/tuck in the OF, Peña at ss and Diaz at catchers or put Julks in OF and DH dubon. But Diaz is so much better when he’s playing the field and maldy is addition by subtraction.
Well, going back to last year I'm now 3-0 at the new stadium in Arlington. Anyone want to buy me a ticket for tomorrow's game to help ensure the series win?
It’s a joke. But if you wanted to do a deep dive into it, I’m sure the nerd cave could find a website that tracks that sort of minutiae.
It’s a good sign for the lineup to have Altuve back in and working counts, making it easier for other guys.
Trade for pitching and a utility IF. Put dubon in center. He’s earned his way into the everyday lineup. Plus, getting another utility guy gives you the option to do it. With Alvarez and Brantley(I think) coming back the DH spot is locked up. Julks, Jake, Chas, two of those guys won’t be here in a month via trade packages. To me, a top 3 starter and a mid RP are higher priority. Unless Brantley isn’t coming back
this is the type of arrogance that jeff luhnow warned about. why is it so difficult for this board to accept other teams can be better than the astros at some aspect of baseball? lemme guess, nick gonna chime in and say i'm riding on the rangers d!ck? all i know is they couldn't even tough eovaldi even though they have in the past. and for tomorrow martin perez looks to pitch a no-hitter whenever he face the astros.
If Brown can trade for a low strikeout guy, high contact, good fielding guy like Verdugo and they get Alvarez back the lineup will have enough length to contend for another championship. Adding at least one more starter, reliever needs to get done too. But there's a reason Brown is prioritizing a bat.
