    Let's hope that the one more move that Feigen referred to is a good one. The disappointment of Brooks and of the Atlanta Hawks trade needs to be wiped out.

    Ridiculous. Brooks at least top 20% defensive player in the league and has a career 3pt% of 34.8. KJM wasn’t even in the top 20% of defensive players on our league worst defensive team. All costs being the same, zero out of 32 teams would take KJM over Brooks.

    My pipe dream: trade for Al Horford. Best shooting C in the league.

    seems he and Robert Williams are redundant with arrival of Porzingis.

    This is a lot of moving parts. For as much as we want to see it all come down, it sounds super complicated. May be more to add as well. If not done properly, the league could reject it.

    Okay I’m doing a little Sherlock Holmes here:

    @Roosh said after the Lopez thing fell apart and Landale was signed, he heard from the org that we were gonna get a lot of Sengun this year. Which makes me think that the plan now going into the season is Sengun/Landale, and we are focusing on surrounding Sengun with defense (and hopefully shooting).

    so the cap space isn’t likely for a starting caliber center.

    the best free agent still available by far, that fits our needs, and also has a history with Ime is Grant Williams. He’s restricted, Boston doesn’t have the space to match. This cap space has to be for Grant Williams.

    Adding Grant Williams would make this free agency a lot more palatable.

    Grant Williams/Jabari
    Dillon Brooks/Tari
    Green/KPJ (or KPJ/Green)
    FVV/Amen
    Whitmore G-league

    Make the kids earn it!

    Sengun is our starting center, he is one of the top young centers in the league….he is a 20 and 10 guy next year. The problem is interior defense.

    Question? Ime coached Grant Williams before why are we not giving Grant a contract? Is there something Ime do not like about Grant?

    I'd love this as well. Not a center, but an excellent defender of multiple positions and a knockdown shooter who'd give them a ton of roster flexibility moving forward. It's just a matter of the dollars and whether they can prevent Boston from matching. It does concern me, though, that Houston hasn't really been linked to him throughout the free agency period, and they have been with most of their major targets.
