Yeah, I'm all for giving him the remaining cap. Hell, I'd move Tate just to make room to give him more money. But after the FVV deal, they really should not be giving any more three-year deals.
If we're EXTREMELY charitable, we could say that doing this right now would in theory stop the larger data scraping operations that negatively impact user experience. Doing something like this could give you a list of people who almost instantly hit the limit, something that you couldn't do naturally, so you can target them with litigation. But again, that's an extremely charitable interpretation.....and I don't think anyone will be looking to be charitable if this new rule lasts longer than a few days.

Unfortunately it will surely take a 3rd year. The only saving grace is they are movable as expiring deals in year 3.
