    Is it possible to round out our team with Capela, Gordon and trade for Harden/Tucker? Also can sign Westbrook for cheap.

    Imagine a starting lineup of Capela, Harden, Tucker and Westbrook with Gordon off the bench. We'd be unbeatable!

    So, this is probably the starting salaries of the offers.

    Fred VanVleet: $40.8MM (max for a player with 7-9yrs experience)

    Brook Lopez: $25.2MM (what is left from the $66MM cap space)

    Dillon Brooks: $13.6MM (max for matching salaries on a sign and trade with KJ/Tate/Christopher)

    I'm sure both FVV and Lopez need commitment from each other that both are coming. If one is not coming, the other won't either unless way overpaid.

    Interesting that most but the three (Lopez, Brooks, Van Vleet) most associated with Houston have signed elsewhere.

    A lot of eyes on VanVleet, meeting with Rockets and Raptors. Rockets prioritized FVV over Harden and Kyrie. This is the guy they want. There was a feeling around the league he might be gone. But already tonight we saw the Raptors re-sign Jakob Poeltl. That is a sign they continue to be aggressive. They’ll try to make a compelling offer. Houston needs him. If not FVV, I’m not sure where they go with the bulk of their money.
