I'll preface it that I don't think he was an NBA player and he stunk up the court. To say something positive, he's obviously a decent basketball player, he scorched the G League. Hopefully he'll find professional work either back there or in Europe or somewhere else and make a bit of money. Wish him all the best.

He showed flashes. Has enough to work with, if he wants to work. I hope he'll do that.

He was instrumental throughout the tank. People forget he started a few games for us last year.

I was wondering why they bothered to waive him this early. But, I noticed this puts the Rockets at the minimum 12 players required after including our rookies cap holds. So, waiving Nix added a little cap space to the pot. I initially thought they would waive him in training camp and just say he lost his spot to one of the newcomers.

I had genuine high hopes for Nix. I am disappointed he couldn't make the leap from G League stand out, to NBA contributor. He has some tools in his tool box, they just don't seem to hold up under the bright lights.

Hope he finds a level where he can play to his potential and be appreciated.

Maybe the worst player in the NBA

If not for Ryan Bowen, could argue he is an all time bad Rocket (that actually played minutes)

I will miss your misses. There were lots of them. You were a tank commander when things started to look promising. Goodbye and good luck. Amen… Thompson.

We will come to regrat this.

jk, but I do think Nix could find a place for that slow ass cross over somewhere in this league given his size and (supposed) outside shot threat.

He just looked lost and confused out there. And slow. But he showed a few flashes of competency. Not flashes of stardom, but flashes that he at least had some skill and the body to boot. Muy disappointo.

I was on the Nix Hype train when he was beasting in the G-League, then he was no longer good all of sudden.

Imagine a Undersized, Overweight Power Forward playing Point Guard that has No Speed on Offense and Defense.

Damian Lillard going for a Career High in Points.

Every Point Guard in the League looked forward to playing the Rockets especially KPJ and Nix, both are bad at that Position.

    Ryan Bowen was much better.

    Wish Nix the best, though.
