I don’t wanna hear about Tilman being the cheapest when Ballmer chose tax savings over Eric Gordon

I would absolutely bring EG back as a veteran presence. Better than Brooks, and probably cheaper. Then, the trade becomes 30th pick for Whitmore, and we keep EG

Gordon will probably end up with the Suns or Warriors, or out east to a Heat/Cavs

Is balmer coming off a 65 win season and knocking on the door of an nba finals? Nah he has a mediocre 44 win team built around 2 injury prone players who just went home in the 1st round

I don’t wanna hear about the clips being in the same realm as the 2017-2018 rockets when it isn’t even close

You know who just won the nba championship. Oh look another team that was in the LT.

Yeah because this mattered the first time around EG’s cliche veteran presence made no difference whatsoever.

Definitely think he'll head to a contender.

Sixers could be a good fit, though I'm not sure if it would be possible financially.

I really wish we could pry Rubio from the Cavs.

Would be fun experiencing free agency, no?

I argued last year he was here as the stabilizing veteran showing the kids how to do it, but ultimately I don’t think it’s in his nature to lead. He just isn’t vocal enough. And he has a que sera, sera outlook at life (or at least his career), it seems.

Yeah I think the kids liked him because he didn't bother pushing them. He gave us some good years, but the last 2 years he gave us were really bad. He was actually lazy on the court. That gives young players the impression that it's ok to give up if things are not going your way. I don't blame Eric; I think we held onto him way too long and really got lucky getting Whitmore out of the trade. He's just not that guy who exudes professionalism and dedication. In reality he hasn't added anything to his game in damn near 10 years, whines way too much on the court, sulks if he doesn't like the situation.

He's more like a Kyle Lowry who needs winners around him to feel fully motivated and play at capacity.

The type of veterans we need are like a PJ Tucker: people who will play hard even if you're playing in someone's backyard for no prize at all.

Eric Gordon is drawing early interest from a number of teams, including the Lakers, Grizzlies, Timberwolves, Suns, Bucks and Trail Blazers, sources tell @KellyIko.

I love EG, he's one of my favourite players actually for his tenure here. He's not a veteran presence though, he's a sidekick not a leader. I really hope he gets somewhere he could contend for a ring. He's still got some left in the tank, be a great bench scoring threat.
