Sengun shot 43% from 3 from January until the end of the season albeit on low volume because the idiot coach told him not to shoot them. I think he will be just fine behind the arc going forward

I love Sengun but the team needs vet help - bad. It costs what it costs.

The more and more I keep thinking about it I really like the fit of Lopez being on this team.

I've never understood the universal lack of appreciation for Boban. That's the veteran back-up center I want.

I think it's highly likely Lopez to HOU is a leverage play, but I'd love to sign him.

It’s not a leverage play because Milwaukee is a repeater tax team and actually can’t afford him.

No one wants to play on a developing team until they have turned the corner....Stone has a very hard task.

He says that he's not anywhere near his end. Our reputation rn is not different that Qatar, Saudi Arabia where European footballers go for their last big hit when they turn 36. He's not coming.

it's not that hard perhaps though. You just severely overpay with short term contracts.

THIS is why I think the best path becomes some small cap friendly trades for players who will help.

Man, I’m probably just a homer, but I hear the Lopez interview an entirely different way. I think it is him pitching himself to Houston. And again I know that sounds crazy but to me it sounds like him pitching himself to a team that will pay him the most money possible.

I want to pay him 60 million dollars for two seasons of mentoring and being OK with coming off the bench if necessary. Pay him 25 million a season and have a $10 million buyout on the third year.

    40 million to FVV
    25 to Lopez

SnT Brooks (if we must) with Tate/Christoper/Washington going to Brooklyn. I don’t personally like Brooks but I am optimistic that he can learn a little bit of a lesson from this year and reign in the shot profile.

    Sengun/Brook
    Smith/KMJ
    Brooks/Eason/Cam
    Green/KPJ/Cam
    FVV/Amen

    I like it a lot.

Maybe…. But am I really that crazy? That’s not really an interview where he just gives his heart to Milwaukee.

oh yeah I definitely heard that as a free agent pitch. Pretty much the opposite of conveying his desire to return to the Bucks. He sounds open to the market

Give it to him, or at least a big guarantee in year 3. Won’t stop us extending Jalen and Sengun in 2025.

If Milwaukee ends up going deep into the repeater tax to match a truly crazy offer, or Toronto does the same with FVV, then you tip your cap and move on.

If we lose out on our prime targets because we just didn’t have enough conviction to put all our resources on the table, in our make or break summer… what are we even doing here?

IDK. I fully had zero belief he would leave a contender to come to one of the worst young teams, but he said a lot of positive key phrases. Helping players get better. Being a good a teammate. Helping a team get better. He's all about winning, yes, but Ime and the Rockets want to be that now. That sounded optimistic for us tbh. That also doesn't sound like he wants to come and sit behind Alpy or play reduced minutes for him or none of that. He wants his 30mpg, which obviously would fine if Alpy can play the 4 and Bari the 3, but i don't think either can full time.

Been saying that for a while now. Have to pick a few players and recruit just them....I would look at young vets
