Well, I suppose you have to be one to do it. ;)
I read/follow this board every day, I just don’t post much. But I’ll keep you updated on Nachbar now that he is here in Slovenia.

Rasho is from Slovenia. Brezec plays in Charlotte (traded from Indiana this year where he didn't played much, but had a very good summer league averaging 20 & 10). Udrih and Vujacic were drafted by S.A. and L.A this year in the first round. They are both 21 y.o. PGs and both made it to the rooster. I find this to be prety impresive if you know how small is Slovenia having less the two milion of population. :)

I was getting a little tired of waiting for Boki to "develop," but after he swatted Karla's s!*t with one hand and having Karla flop like he always does and end up on the floor, I have no problems with giving Boki another year before giving up on him!

2 NBA quality PGs in a country of 2 million is DEFINITELY impressive. especially when you've got a country of 1.2 BILLION that has none.:)

Boki endeared himself to me when he stood up to Malone. When he wasn't afraid to initiate that contact. He became A ROCKET in that moment, to me.

    Go boki! :)

No kidding. I love Boki's game. He can slash, his footwork has gotten MUCH better, he hustles hard on D, and gets blocks.

Once his shot starts going down in games, he is going to be VERY difficult to guard. Play up on him and he goes to the rack, slough off and he nails the 3.

I think by having T-mac here, Boki will really learn how to use his length. I agree he could be very difficult to defend. Boki could be our "utility man".......or thats the role i see him playing for us. Solid at a lot of things, just not great at anyone particular things. He would just bring the hustle, heart, and judging by what he did to malone, he is fearless enough to do some "hurt" as well.

I think Boki will benefit a lot from T-Mac being here. I think aside from T-Mac, Boki is the most athletic Rocket. I haven't seen Gaines, but Boki has a lot of athleticism at his aresenol.

If Boki can learn from T-Mac, he will be able to back up T-Mac quite a bit.

Because if Boki does pan out; as we all expect, then he will be a nice compliment to Yao and T-Mac for the next decade. A slasher/Shooter/athletic/tall SF to go along with Yao a taller than average Center and McGrady another taller than average SG.

And if Gaines does show up pretty well, we'd have a taller than average Point guard.

    Gaines 6'6"
    McGrady 6'8"
    Boki 6'9"
    Howard 6'9"
    Yao 7'6"

That is one tall line up except for Howard and Taylor.

Do you guys think that boki could become a point guard? Just think about it for a sec. He is a good passer, can dribble, and moves without the ball well.

    Umm, no.

Imo, the best we can expect is him ripping an occasional rebound and starting the break with a few running dribbles, like any 3 with decent handles.

Actually, the T-mac issue people are making is a very valid one.

T-Mac's best friend and favorite Magic player while he was there was Mike Miller - they combined for a pretty lethal 2/3 combo.

I'd be THRILLED if Boki became a longer, poor man's Mike Miller.

It appears, that JVG will give Boki a real shot this year. Hopefully, he builds upon the end of last season and steps up. He could be a great 6th man change of pace to JJ. His ability to attack the basket, may give TMac some open looks also. With Yao in a high post Boki and TMac cutting could be a lethal combo.
