the way Stone has done past deals, he does a sit down meeting on what city the player wants and how he can help them. I’m trading KJ to a losing team on purpose so his dad stays pissed off.

lol; wish we could hurt the father without hurting the son. KJ seems like a good kid.

Poor KJM. He has no chance to be starter in any of the remaining 29.He needs Rockets much more than Rockets needs him. The father is delusional and tries to destroy his son's future.

KJM does 2 things good: Dunking and cutting. But he always needs someone to assist him. Which other team will give a starting slot and 28 minutes per game to a player who has 0.680 FT% and 0.315 3PT %

    Tragic.

What do you think it would it take to get Lively from the Mavs?

I'd love to keep him at a few million per year. Nobody will pay him 10+ per year.

I mean he is still listed at 22 years old, same as Tari Eason, couple months older.

If he can stabilize his jump shot and improve on Defense, he could be a starter on some of the middling teams.

We have to many players that do the same thing. Selling low is okay at times, not everything has to be a home run. Just getting on base (positive move forward with new coaching staff) => a rotation worthy, defensive minded point guard would help out our team. Same tier player different skill set.

I have no problem with KJM. The problem is his father, trying to snub Rockets.

Being in the Rockets is a huge chance/opportunity for KJM and the family can't realize that.Their problem, not Houston's.

"If he can stabilize his jump shot and improve on defense". Too many ifs.

KMart has actually said great things about the Rockets since the Udoka hire. And his assessment of Silas seems pretty accurate. There was a time when I thought he just didn't like the team or city, but to be fair I tried to imagine him having a conversation with Silas.

Silas: Hello how may I help you
    Kenyon: Hi I'm Kenyon Martin
    Silas:...
    Kenyon: Kenyon Martin Jr's dad...
Silas: You shot 25% from freethrow one season.
Kenyon: I only played in 2...Actually I wanted to talk about my son
    Silas:...
    Kenyon: Kenyon Martin Jr.
Silas: Yes! He is really good on alley oops. I threw him an alley oop in practice one time. Mr. Jason taught me how to throw alley oops. KMart says he met Mr. Jason before, did you meet him too?
Kenyon: Mr. Jason...yeah, I met JKidd, but I wanted to ask how you plan on using Jr. in games. Did you want call more plays with him as a screener to get him more involved in lobs, maybe some backdoor cuts?
Silas: I'll have to ask Mustafa about cutting the backdoors, but I don't think I need to call any plays for him. He plays so good when he gets the ball in transition and off rebounds. It's like our team plays best when he's just on the floor.
Kenyon: So how can we get him on the floor more? What should he be working on to get more minutes? How can he get into the starting lineup?
Silas: I don't know. Would you like me to ask Mr. Rafael?

If you thought your son's career was being negatively impacted by a poorly run franchise, what would you do?

Silas was a wrong guy, not just for KM&KMJ but for whole basketball world.
It does not mean Rockets was the wrong franchise for KMJ, likely the best he can ever imagine. Starting slot, assisting Center, feeling kind of vet within group of rookies,etc...

Garry Bird and Bruno got practically zero minutes after the trade. KMJ might get around 15 if he is traded to another franchise See the face of "Senior" then.
