Christian Bale is my Batman, but I like most of them. Keaton is great in general. Pattinson did good. Affleck was dealt the worst hand of all Batmen but did the best he could. Val Kilmer and George Clooney.... I could do without.

I am too young for Adam West to have been a big deal in my life, so I will respectfully just leave him off the list.

If I had to rank, I'd go

    Bale
    Keaton
    Pattinson
    Affleck

It depends on how bad is defined?

Pattinson was my favorite, and I never, ever, never would have dreamed I would have felt that way before I watched the movie. He hit closest to me of what I understand of Bruce Wayne. Not sure if that fits the question of “baddest” but it’s what came to mind.

My favorite to this day is Batman with Keaton and Nicholson. Although the fight scene between the two was pretty lame.

The best thing about the Kilmer and Clooney Batmans is that they paved the way for the more "realistic" Batman Begins with Bale. As corny as they were, they're at least rewatchable every now and then though. I can't say the same for Batman v. Superman. After that I just stopped caring. Never finished Pattinson's version. Was just too slow, long and depressing, IMO.

Really liked Bale in the 1st and 3rd of his installments. He was fine in 2 but just a prop for the amazing Joker realization.

Glad someone mentioned OG Adam West, even with the shark scene.

Hands down Affleck. That warehouse fight scene still the best live action Batman scene ever.

Affleck but the Bale movies are some of my favorites along with the Pattinson one I am really looking forward to part 2.

We should all know Kevin Conroy is the definitive Batman

Adam West for the win. I don’t know if he’s the baddest, but he’ll always be the coolest.

No other Batman could pull these scenes off. Just genius.

My personal best Batmans are Bale, Keaton and Affleck. My next tier are Kilmer and Pattison, with Pattison still having a chance to move up another tier. After that, my personally hated Batman was Clooney. I can't speak for anyone such as Adam West as it was before my time.

Kilmer is underrated because the movie was so silly. Clooney was the only Batman that failed completely.

Keaton: I think he had the best balance of Bruce Wayne and Batman. I think Bale was great but I think the movie was better than his performance. Affleck was a great Bruce and a terrible Batman. Will Arnet is the 2nd best. Adam West was great for what that rendition of Batman was but i really don't include him with my rankings.
