eh . . . I'll just buy stuff over the net Yeah, yeah, shipping, I know, but I can deal with that if I don't have to go to the store . . .
Ive been wondering this a while.. this all I thought was a back to school thing... yet school supplies aren't tax free.. backpacks arent' tax free either.. makes no sense to me..
Well, unfortunately I bought all the clothes I needed at Katy Mills last week...but I'll see what's available out there this weekend.
Dammit! That means that my area of town will be crowded as ****... I love getting a break on shopping, but not at the expense and the hassle of traffic. Besides, there's not too much I need this year. Maybe 2 or 3 pairs of jeans and a pair or two of socks. I don't need any more school supplies, underwear, shirts, or shoes.
Most of the electronics stuff on the 'Net is cheaper than what you get in stores anyway. I make it a point to stay away from stores and malls during the insanity of these "tax free days" and "day after thanksgiving". It's like a hurricane of humanity out there with many people buying stuff they never would've bought in the first place. So instead of saving money, they just spent more.
So, what stores are having sales to correspond with the tax free weekend? I ain't steppin' outta my apartment just to save a few measly bucks on tax unless there are sales involved (at least 20% off)
I just got back from Memorial City Mall. Yes, I did make it back in one piece. Why is it, the Purple and Black and Orange Polo shirt always on sale? Anyhoo, I bought some jeans from porno photographer, Calvin. I like him. Some other crap from some boat company, and some Michael Jordan Underwear.
Why do girls do this? Do you not realize the inherent imagery that I will entertain once you start mentioning the unmentionables? It's utter lunacy for me to start thinking about anything else now that we have broached this newfound realm of curiosity mixed with uncertainty. Thanks meggoleggo and hook 'em horns.
